I am so excited to be sharing this recipe here with all of you on Foods, Words & Photos! I am huge fan of Sarah’s adventures in her kitchen and she pulls me in with her stories each week. We have become great friends and I am honored to be her first guest post! Like Sarah, I love to experiment in the kitchen and my blog, Kitchen Tested, is all about trying new things and updating the classics. One of my many mottos is to take the risk and try everything once! It may not always work out, but at least I can say I tried it, right?!? So when it comes to my cooking, I love to pair odd ingredients, make updates to the recipes I grew up eating and make the dishes that I’ve always dreamed about. The scones I’ve made for you today remind me of one of my childhood favorites (we ate a lot of scones growing up) and I’ve always wanted to make them in my own kitchen.
